The difference between dogs and cats just widened, as scientists have found that the two animals drink liquids using entirely different methods. Dogs use a plunk and scoop method while cats delicately lap liquids with only the tip.

@writheinpain: You'd be amazed at what discoveries and inventions come from studying nature very closely. As an example, somebody studied how seeds could hitch a ride on an animal's fur, which led to the invention of Velcro. Scientists studying a poor conductor (silicon) produced research that led to semiconductor electronics, hence computers. What is studying a cat's lapping good for? No one knows, yet.

@RupturedFarms Cancer could've been cured a long time ago, it's just too profitable not to do that. Why cure people once (and have them pay you only once) when you can shake them until they die selling them treatments and whatnot, stuff that doesn't actually guarantee anything? You may think otherwise, you all have the right to do so, but you got to admit, that today that theory might contain some truth...

uhh.. dogs drink many times faster than cats, even tiny chihuahuas drink a lot faster ..

Dogs are a lot smarter than cats in drinking thats for sure ..
