http://www.icyou.com presents 'Ask Dr. Mona'- Can I second question my doctor?! PCOS concern?
I dunno if maybe I'm being paranoid, or a bit of a Hypochondriac, but I've been self diagnosing, dangerous I know!
Firstly, I don't have much faith in my GP for various reasons(too much to go into without massive rant!).
I have been looking up some symptoms online and have myself convinced I have PCOS Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
I suffer from acne, excessive hair(random hairs on neck, jawline, chest), skin tags in armpit, and occasional pain during intercourse.
I was sent for an ultrasound about 18months ago due to severe pains, but results were clear. After this, my doctor didn't look into the problem any further but the symptoms have worsened.

Should I persist again with my doc on the matter? I would hate to come across as if contradicting her. But also fear fertility issues.

Check out this video for Dr. Mona's answer!
