Melissa is a canadian girl and she came to rescue when the band needed help the most from that Darcy girl leaveing the band she in a way saved the band and then after Ginger jonined and helped the band and help the band stay sweet too

Machina was the smashing pumpkin album that made the most money so dont go dishing Melissa if wasent for her the band would been dead from Darcy

Hey Melissa was awesome thats not nice to say everyone knows Melissa rocks didnt you know that when the smashing pumpkins broke up James and Darcy adn Melissa tired make a album together but it failed just goes to show you with out Billy Corgan you gonna not win but still Melissa was sweet anyways if you wanna listen more of James go get his solo album everyone stop bitching why hes not in the band Jeff has taken his place and he rocks and Ginger took Darcys and she rocks

Sorry, but Melissa Auf Der Maur only knows how to pose and flick her hair around - that doesn't make a good bass player. If you LISTEN to her actually play, rather than just watch her trying to make a show of herself, she's mediocre. Great video though. As far as skilled and talented bass "goddesses" go, D'arcy W and Paz Lenchantin are the real deal. MADM's not, I'm afraid.
