My mom's from texas even though im from missouri and am a missouri fan i really love texas ive benn there like 8 times so i was freaking out cause i hate OU.

@Statalyzer I get it. The BCS isn't the greatest system. But I am not in favor of a playoff system. This is the best thing we have at hand right now. We could just go back to having the AP Poll decide the #1 team at the end of every season. But a lot of people would consider that regressing.

Hard to hate during a great game like this - two really good teams playing well and somebody eventually had to lose. Mike Knall is a girl. Other than him, nothing but respect for the Sooners here.

@BigTimeStein1 It doesn't really prove anything about Florida and Texas on way or the other. It just honestly wasn't fair that Texas didn't have a chance but Florida and OU did. Just like it wasn't fair for Auburn and Utah in 2004, or Boise State in 2006, or just about every team in the top 10 in 2007, etc.

@TexasMade20 Not to be technical but Tech beat you guys by 6 that year. We beat Tech by 44 but since that was their only loss for the entire season it put them at 11-1 with us and Texas. The way the tie breaker works is the highest ranked BCS team and that went to us. Whine all you want, it ain't changing. Plus, your typical 4th quarter heroics against Ohio State proved that Florida would have beaten Texas and beaten them comfortably.

okay im a die hard OU fan my grandfather played and taught at OU and after my college bball career is up i will go to grad school at OU but all this texas sucks and OU is driving me nuts both teams are great and they show it every year they play with passion and thats all we want and u guys dont play for neither school so just be fans and enjoy playing each other every year because we clearly have the best rivalry in college football so every just shut up and enjoy it for the love of God lol
