Flag and Memorial Committee

The Flag and Memorial Committee for the City of Titusville will be honoring the following businesses and non-profit organizations that daily display the flag of our nation with a certificate of recognition and thanks on May 17, 2011 at 12:00 pm on the steps of Titusville's City Hall.

There will be photo opportunity with members in the Titusville City Council along with our very own Betsy Ross, played by Carole Clark.

It is the responsibility of the Flag and Memorial Committee to keep the flags waving up and down US 1 demonstrating Titusville's on-going patriotic spirit. In addition, the Flag and Memorial Committee is responsible for the following observances: Flag Day and The Astronaut Memorial, in addition to Veteran's Day and Memorial Day in partnership with American Legion Post 1. It is the function of this committee to continually perpetuate the honor and glory of our nation's symbol.
