Bangai-O Spirits Custom Level "Spotted"

Took me two hours to make and one hour to balance. The level is quite easy and short. You set of a chain-reaction of bombs and have to clear two movable targets and one stationary before you're locked out by some blocks.

I don't quite understand. If you mean the audio data it can be downloaded from the link in the info box. The first part of the video is just to show what the maps look like.

Hey man, I('m getting a DS just for this game (well Metal Slug 7 aswell) and I have the Dreamcast version. Tell me, how much can you do with the level editor? what features does it have and whats this with audio files? can you have your own music?

Treasure (the company who made the game) actually built all the game's levels using the in-game editor so whatever they did you can do on your own.

When you made an level you can make an audio file out of it and send that file to someone. The audio sounds like static but it's sound data that can be fed into the NDS' microphone and reconstructed back to a level... it's basically another way of storing information.

Ok, so can you add textures and backdrops? custom colours? or is it restricted to predefined options? BTW, Treasure are my heroes

There's no content creation but you have A LOT of predefined options to choose from when creating a level. The game is out now in the U.S. at a budget price. Buy it and join in on the fun guys/gals! :)

Yeah, that´s why I mean: couldn´t just put the audio file for your level there? Would there be any difference?

Just downloaded and beat it with a time of 00'13'08 seconds. A little bit on the easy side. Do make more though.

you can have any music that comes with the game. the levels are transmitted by sound; thats whats with the audio files. and basically, you can do ANYTHING in the level editor; very very robust and offers endless fun. has undo and copy, cut, and paste functions.
