A simple 24hr HD timelapse from a tropical beach done in Bryce.

I just felt like making a simple timelapse like video in Bryce so I tried it out and it and I think it turned out ok. The water and trees don't move because I don't know if you can do that in Bryce. :P When it came time to render I decided to render it in 720P HD now that youtube supports it, although it took like 4 times as long as normal to render it at this resolution. :P

*Note* If the video plays chopy when you click the HD button, your probably going to have to start the video from the beginning again, then it should play smooth.

This video was used for a background in parts of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWgCx0LvU7g so if you want to see how this looks integrated into another video check it out! =-)

  • I once tried using the music for a game i made. It just makes game and your video sound like there is more, than you can see on the screen.

  • @petop3 indeed it does. =-)

  • Nice! It would be better if the waves were coming in, and the trees were moving in a breeze, but still a very nice job! like the music too. :-)

  • @WildStar2002 Thanks. =-) That would make it nicer, but bryce is cheap and I don't know if there is even a way to make trees move like there is wind and to make good looking animated waves would be tricky. :P

  • Nice job! Isnt the music from freeplay?

  • @petop3 Thanks! =-) and ya. :p

  • @RickairProductions Thanks! =-) Do you know what, I never even thought of moving the stars until you just mentioned it, I'm wishing I did now because you can rotate the stars in Bryce just as easily as you can the sun. If I ever make another time lapse video I'll have to keep that in mind. =-)

  • Nice Bryce work! Good use of animation in the skylab and excellent job on the cloud shadows and the lighting right when the sun goes off screen. Would have been nice if the stars in the night sky moved too. Great job though. Bryce really is capable of doing some awesome things.

  • @josephj4050 Thanks! =-)
