@gumpdy working out the math for stuff like that is extraordinarily difficult and time consuming. and in the end, you have an iffy idea at best. I find it's much more convenient to just mount it wherever, and then adjust it later to get what you want out of it.

the tube steel is 1018 1.5"? looks with corrosion you must have use 4130 steel better resistance and more light weight but more expensive...anyway you do great job there i have some designs u could be interested

Do you know the math to determine where to best place shock mounts?

i whant to make somthing like this, but i live in denmark and to make it road legal it have to be crash tested :(. The only way to do it is to use a doner car (like wolkswargen 1300) and then the tax i wery high so it will be cheaper to get a old lotus7. So i look at this and dream :-)
