design and implementation of a Touch screen Digital Piano. The Prototype design is coded in to a FPGA in VHDL and a Touch screen with graphics interface is used as the user interface to compose music. Digitally generated signals are fed in to Digital to Analog Converters to be able to hear actual analog music. More importantly the system is tuneable like a real Piano and it can imitate fundamental music of other musical instruments such as Flute, Oboe and Clarinet. touch screen is communicating via RS 232.It was my final year project for undergrad at Curtin university perth, (keeth Nissanka)
