Read what one volunteer has to say about her best girl, Misty on our blog
I am an adorable young dog who is super sweet and super affectionate. Left in the nightbox alone, after having just given birth to a litter of puppies, my teats heavy with milk, I was quiet scared and sad; however, as you can tell by the pictures, I have come a long way, thanks to the t-l-c of staff and volunteers, alike. Now, I have lots of energy and would love to be in a home where I would get ample opportunity to run or hike in the great outdoors. I get along well with others dogs, so if you already have a dog and are looking for another, you may want to consider bringing me into your home. When I am on a walk with my favorite volunteers, I look up at them on a regular basis to check-in, making sure all is well, for it is very important to me to always do the right thing and be absolutely attuned to my person. I have a sleek black coat, with a dash of white down my face, and not an ounce of fat on me, so I am quite a stunning pooch. If you visit the shelter, be sure to ask to visit with me in the back and I will show you what a cuddle-bug I am!
