I'm turning my Ibanez RG120 from a tremelo guitar into a string through hardtail. This is the same guitar that I use in a lot of my vids!!! I plan to post vids of my progress until I'm done. It will probably take a week because of paint dry times.

I don't blame you a bit,trem bridges just won't stay in tune unless you have a floyd rose. And even with them theres a loss of tone and sustain,IMO hard tails the way to go.They put those crappy trems on everything so beginners can make all the cool noises and break a few strings.Give me a clasic tune-omatic any day!!!!

I wanna do this to my old RG120. I think I'm just going to block off the trem and get some new pickups for it. I really wanna fix it up and make it somewhat nice lol

So because I don't like tremolo guitars that makes me stupid? Do you also think Slash and Paul Gilbert are stupid because they prefer hardtails? Now there's nothing wrong with a whammy, if thats your thing, but its not my thing, so fuck off.
