I've played the game and this doesn't follow the game, I don't have a clue on what it follows. this movie was bullsh*t. when I saw the trailer, I thought for sure it was gonna follow the game but it was total sh*t

Max Payne has been one of my favorite game series since the first time I played, at age 8. The movie was probably the biggest cinema disappointments ever, especially after I got hyped up when I heard about it. I guess I should've remembered one of the main rules in the film industry, game to movie films SUCK! And just who's bright idea was it to cast Jackie from "That's 70's show" for the role of Grade-A badass Mona Sax?! I've lost some much faith in society.

You know what's fucked up? The Max Payne games are actually pretty good and had a decent story. And that makes the movie that much more of a letdown.
