In a movie tittled 'Tea with Mussolini' (1999), there has to be a connection to the music in that period of pre-war fascist Italy. And there is, in the intro the beautiful "Mattinata Fiorentina", sung by Alberto Rabagliati ánd Tuli-tuli-tulipan sung by Trio Lescano.
The tale is semi-biographical, based on the memories of Franco Zeffirelli (the director of the movie) and shows us the whereabouts of a group of English women (known as the "Scorpioni"), believing that they are protected by Mussolini himself (as he stated while having tea with the ladies). But as the war breaks out, there is no protection at all and the women are interned.
This fragment with Trio Lescano in the background, ends with the announcement that the U.S.A. entered the war.
