I have been getting questions from people just starting out with Lightroom asking how do they save the changes that they are making to their photos. They are used to making changes than having to save them.

Well in lightroom all your tweaks to photos get saved in side car files called XMP's. To hear all about this please watch this video.

  • Saving your changes?first create a folder. Just go to 'File' select 'Export with preset' then 'Burn full-sized JPEG"s. thats all. =)

  • @sandroperalta export files

  • @LiviuPavel they will be saved in the side car file also but in order to use it to print you have to export into a jpeg.
