@MusicGolod, Hours of practice, its what Johann Sebastian Bach's father said to him =)
My piano teacher died.. Im 12, and I think I have no hope.. but I must keep going on at art, instrument, and many of my talent, and I will give they all back to God, because He gave me all of this.. I wrote so many poems, and paited so many picture, and know how to play some many instrument, without anyone told me how to play
You are the best, Michael
Irene...

He handles the first melody expertly--a lot of poetry in that right hand. Many turn this part into mechanical boredom, but he really has a gift for interpretation here. Unfortunately, the central idea gets a little sloppy. The section with the seventh chords was plodding and on unsure footing, and I think half a measure was omitted in the rush to escape. . . . The quiet return of the main melody was expertly handled.

@koBaVeHko But see--a grown man lives half a life and goes thru a few sorrowful episodes or relationships that he can step in and out into those emotions to superimpose them into Chopin's masterpieces. Meanwhile a kid eats ice cream and has problems in math class and is nowhere near feeling the type of emotions needed to play Chopin...so if you want emotion, stick to adults playing these gems, not kids.
I thought Michael did a decent recital for his age ;)

He's in Ottawa. Most young kids in the Kiwanis stuff seem to enjoy what they play, and he plays this one pretty convincingly. Why not challenge young students when they're capable?
Was it difficult to learn the "trio" section with all those flats and sharps? How did you go about it?
