Ouch,

I guess you've figured this out, if you are still turning, but you start from the beginning & work outward & slow your cut down near the end. You are also pushing too hard on the knife & need to keep the cutter sharper LOL

Thanks for your comment and tips. The reason I start with the outer bowl is I want to guarantee I get the biggest bowls out of the blank. This is a tip I picked up from Mike Mahoney.

Hi there from Toowoomba Queensland Australia, I have watched your video many times, and love the way you use the bowlsaver. I have a bowlsaver but it only does up to a 10 inch bowl and also it does another one out of that one of 4 inches. it's good to see you not wasting timber. Desmond Shore.
