The back story: I wrote a song called "Still Learning", about a girl that I tried hard not to fall in love with. It didn't work. A dear friend and songwriter wrote a song in response to "Still Learning". I decided to write this song in response to his song - that was in response to my original song - which was about a girl.
I was invited to perform at the Wild Pug's showcase, entitled UnPugged-a-palooza. I performed this song in a busy bar, and as you can see, still managed to get everyone to listen. I love that.
So yes, thanks go out to everyone at the Wild Pug for such a wonderful evening, to Jeff Churchwell for being inspired, and for inspiring me, to the girl who inspired me in the first place...
...and, of course, to all of the women on the dating site I used to be active on who were responsible for the writing of this song. Cheers!
I'm a song writer myself from England and I love songs that have a story to tell that truely come from the heart. To sum it up, your song is ace, Thank you. I wrote a song about my split up when I was at my lowest point in life. It's on YouTube as Stephen Wilde (Please don't move on). I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed yours. Looking forward to more like that. Steve.
