@Beep12Beep What I was trying to point out was that it doesn't even matter what race he is, or where he was born, or his background. The point is that he has pure talent. But somehow, people want to bring his heritage into it? I didn't cause or start any battles. Not only Indians feel connected to him, but the everyone in the globe feels connected to him and his music.

@georgiiaz93 You only say that now because he is famous. His nationality is British that's true. But his race and creed is still Indian. It's not supposed to be a battle, just Indians feel connected to him in that way. If he wasn't famous, you'd say he was Indian. You say his background is "Indian." That's exactly what everyone else is saying lol.

@phokingma All will BE GOod!
:)
I love this song so much...says the truth, everyone pretends to be sooo liberal, but when they see an arabic or indian, chinese, african person, they immediately make assumptions and judge...And also parents, they plan for their daughter to marry a rich smart guy, and if she doesn't choose that type of guy, they are disappointed. But it is HER life, not yours!

This song reminds me of my current situation with my boyfriend. We're both of the same race, but different ethnicity. His family doesn't really approve of us and I've been trying my best to prove them wrong. I'm making progress but it seems like nothing really is good enough unless I am a completely different person, born and raised within their traditions. I just hope my boyfriend loves me enough to ignore what they have to say and have faith in us. I hope he sees me for me, not where I'm from.
