This is a modified version of the "Viet Nam - Hwy 9 - Lao Bao to Dong Ha" video uploaded a few days ago. The music track has been replaced. The new one is by the same artist, Thao Trang, but the song is different - "Strangers" and is in English.

There were a few other minor tweaks probably not noticeable to most viewers.

There will be one additional video in this series and then I will return to more videos from Bangkok and elsewhere in Thailand.

The mountain in the final scene and a few other clips in the video is Co Roc. Some viewers will have heard of or seen it before.

  • Nice video

  • @ThaiCandy2000 Your comment is appreciated. I've just uploaded another from that area and also from Laos along Hwy 9. YouTube says it "is being processed" at this time.

  • @phrakanong In am intrested in Laos. I know some Lao words ;-)

  • @ThaiCandy2000 You will hear Lao and also Vietnamese spoken in this new upload in the second half where the bus stops to allow passengers to buy something to eat. A portion of the sound track has some Lao style khaen music.

The YouTube processing seems to be stuck. It was a 2 gig + upload, about 5 hours. I will wait a while longer and see what happens.

  • @WoAiSunYanZi2 Thanks.

Your response is much appreciated. I did try to do a better job of that in a more recent video, "A Visit to Surin, Thailand" and will try to do better in future videos. Please have a look if you've not seen it. It was uploaded to YouTube earlier this month on 16 October.

  • @phrakanong Yeah I mean subtitles of the conversations and banners. And if you want to share some additional explanation about a place it would be great too.

    Sorry for the belated response

  • thanks from aman from the netherlands

  • @WoAiSunYanZi2 Thanks for the suggestion. Suggestions are always welcomed.

To be clear, do you mean subtitles for the conversations taking place in the videos which are in the local languages, or do you mean something else.

  • It would be great if you start adding subtitles to these videos

  • @chanheurng Your comment is much appreciated chanheurng. Thanks for taking the time to do that and for watching. We're planning to have one more video from Viet Nam and Laos (our return to Thailand) and then we'll be doing some more videos of Thailand.
