Itouch VNC Anywhere Wifi Remote PC VNSEA Iphone This Works!!

How to set up your Windows XP PC so that your Itouch can control it down at the local coffee shop. Install UltraVNC (UltraVNC Win32 Server 1.0.4 RC 13) http://www.filehippo.com/download_ultravnc/3815 and DynDNS IP updater ( DynDNS-3.1.0.15s.zip ) on your PC. http://www.kanasolution.com/download.php?fid=8&pid=7&prid=4 Then install VNSEA on your Itouch. Then go to www.DYNDNS.ORG on your PC and apply for a free web address. On their website link your home IP address with your newly created web address.

Open your WIFI router software on your PC - go to the section which controls the gaming communications, create a new game called qqq with default ports 5900 to 5900. Then select this game and link it with the PC on your network that has the UltraVNC installed on it and then save this configuration.

Now importantly switch off your router and Itouch for approx 5 minutes. Your now ready to log on to your PC using your Itouch. To create a new server on your Itouch. Open the VNSEA on your Itouch. Then type in the web address created at www. DYNDNS.org and your password. Then on VNSEA set -
shared to - off
view only to - off
pixel depth to - 16.

Then leave your computer at home (with UltraVNC and DynDNS IP updater running in the background) switched on make sure your computer standby and screensavers are switched off. At the coffee shop using wifi open your itouch VNSea software and click on the newly added VNC Server youve created and in a few seconds your desktop on your home computer should appear on your itouch screen.

(HINT - If you click once on the top bar of your Itouch VNsea control screen (it turns black)then your can pan around your home computer screen without controlling it. When you are ready to control your computer click the top bar again and it turns white - you can now control your computer buttons. By regularly clicking the top bar using VNSEA you can navigate around the home computer screen without entering information and clicking icons on your home computer.)

It may be possible to use different companies for hosting your IP redirection and Router software is all different. These methods are all at the experimental stage and may not work for your configuration. With Wifi and an Itouch - controlling your home PC down at your local coffee shop may now be possible. - It works for me.

what do you mean  type the word speedtouch in my address bar??

Speedtouch is the name of my wifi modem/router and typing this name in internet explorer address bar opens the speedtouch software . If your wifi router is different you need to find a way to access its software so that the settings can be changed as described. Hope that helps.
