people refer to this album as thrash ,,,but they have no idea how influential was this back in 87 and how heavy it was for the scene back then this is one of the first death metal albums along with possessed "seven churches" death "scream bloody gore" etc albums that shooked the scene for their heavyness,, but i guess today everybody wants to be an expert and call this thrash ....

@Tombking2 It might be half step down. Most Thrash from this era uses that tuning.

Nah more Nasty savage inspired than anything else,but still killer and much preferable to so called "brutal death metal"

@Angelrat70 not all the new metal bands sucks there are some pretty decant thrash bands you just have a negative personality
I always described the None Shall Defy cd as a perfect mixture of Slayer's "Hell Awaits" and Possessed's "Seven Churches"...It doesn't get much more Metal than that.
