Awesomeness! My friend uses a similar app in OSX. I talked to a few linux people and they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Any how, Xviccap is a cool app. Something I have been searching for. Once again, thanks.
that's cool it's a very good screen capture program, I hope you make some good Tuts with it, also if you want an alternative to the program there's one called Xvidcap which I highly recommend.
Hahaha! Thanks. I didn't need a step by step instructions, just needed the name, but thanks. Much appreciated. I hope to have a little desktop vid of my own here soon.
@phatcartoon He used a program called gtk-recordMyDesktop, you can install it by Clicking on "Applications" then "Accessories" and then "Terminal" once there write "sudo apt-get install gtk-recordMyDesktop" "press enter", "provide password", "press enter" and it's yours under "Applications" and "Sound & Video" ;)

What app did you use to do the screen recording? I want to show some friends Ubuntu and how I set up my desktop and workspaces.
