JPAC Arrival Ceremony.wmv

I was privileged to be invited to attend an Arrival Ceremony for the Joint POW / MIA Accounting Command. JPAC teams recover remains from missing American soldiers from all past conflicts. These remains are returned with full military honors for identification at the Central Identification Laboratory at Hickam Air Force base in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Production notes: all the video and stills were taken with the iPhone 4s or 4 and edited in Sony Vegas 8. As you can imagine, the biggest challenge is holding these tiny, lightweight phones steady. Other than the shaky nature, I was quite surprised with the image quality.

@dancingcat96828 It was similar to the USS Stennis Embark. Through the services' program for bloggers and social media. It was something pretty special.

Probably a good idea to have more people witness this ceremony and realize what a sacrifice these men/women made and continue to make.
