Nothing special - just some of my lace monitors being fed. Three different monitors, three different levels of comfort around humans. Different versions of the same feeding response, though. It started off being a video to show Satan's rush and grab technique but I had the camera out and decided to shoot the others, too. Satan got its name from the pattern on the back of its neck, not from its personality.

  • Why does your lace monitor look like this all the other ones have alot thiner stripes

  • @keinanjoss the first two monitors in this video are Bell's phase lace monitors. It's a naturally occurring colour morph that comes up as broad, rather than narrow, bands of colour.

  • I can see where your coming from but you don't kno me n u haven't seen my house or the space I have available. If I can house a Nile properly I can house a lace.

  • @fbmxer you should post a video of your adult Nile monitors and their setup, then, for all I can go by is the video of your albigularis and exanthematicus setups. Based on those (and the way you deal with them), I'd advise you against getting a lace monitor.

  • Yeah I know they require alot of space. I have a 5ft x5ft x3ft cage sitting at my house which should be plenty big for a hatchling and juvenile size judging by the size cage u have yours in. u need a new cage aswell by your standards

  • @fbmxer I wasn't talking about housing hatchlings or juveniles. It's the adults you're not going to have space for.

  • love the vids, gorgeous monitors, subbed 5*

  • @fbmxer they're not exported but they are in the US. Don't get one, though, as they need huge amounts of space. The setups that you have on youtube would also be highly unsuitable for a hatchling.

  • So I have wanted a lace monitor for about a year now but can't find them anywhere on this continent. I live in the us. Are they just not exported or are they not legal here? Hopefully u know what the deal is. Btw Ur monitors are super Gorgeous man.

  • @lynsey9814 all reptiles need permits in Australia.
