Shuster Erupts -- Charges Congressman Misleading Public by Hiding Medicare is 'Government-Run'

Shuster, the ex-host of the failed show 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, gets way to much joy in using loaded questions against anyone who he doesn't agree with so he can out yell them, even when he's wrong. CBO now says it $1.2 Trillion. It really is higher because you've got 10 years of paying and 5 years of benefits. During the first 5 years, people and companies will be paying TWICE - for the care they need, and for the downpayment of the system being put into place. AND, the second 10 years is much higher. Shuster is either ignorant of the facts, or trying to con the public.

Research Maine's Dirigo program. It is the model for the Federal program. It ended up costing tax payers much more than promised while only covering a small fraction of those promised. It also propelled Maine into the top 5 of states in terms of total medical expenditures, while the state itself is 40th in total population. On a national scale, anything under a trillion is a pipe dream. Factor in fraud and waste and we could be looking at 2+ trillion.

Shuster just tries to over talk people, he doesn't present real information. CBO now says 1.2 Trillion - in the days to come that will grow just like the underestimations for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaide. Like the saying goes You Break it You Pay for it; Government will Break it and we the Taxpayers will get stuck with paying for it as will our Children and possibly their Children if we don't stop the Pelosie bill.
