Bob Jackson of Target Fluid Services www.targetfluid.co.uk is setting up a new hydraulic system on a Workboat.
The engine driven load sensing piston pump provides pressure and flow to a deck crane.
Bob explains how the load sensing pump provides a constant flow rate regardless of the out put load.
The crane will move at a speed set by the hand valve and should not change if the load changes.
The load sensor maintains a 15bar differential, as the load increases the swashplate will move to increase the flow rate and maintain DeltaP.
