OMG thank you so much! I always used windows movie maker but wanted to do a bit better with my sims 3 videos so I am using adobe premiere and I couldnt find anywhere how to change it.. i was just about to upload it and thought I would search again and Im glad I did :) Thanks!

Ok,i need help,I have footage that every time I import to premiere its widescreen,what do I do so that it makes it covers the whole screen?

@freebearride LOL. Pillar Boxing. Like Pillars that hold up buildings. It is the actual term for 4x3 in 16x9 with side black bars. :)

im from the philippines and we use NTSC here. if i follow ur technique and go with PAL, it wouldn't be compatible.. whats the theory behind using PAL in this technique? can i use DV NTSC instead?

@jiggajayb go for it in NTSC. I only use PAL because I'm in Australia and we work in PAL. It will work fine in NTSC. :)
