Photo/slideshow of images taken by me during Fleet Week 2008. To view in high quality, please add &fmt=18 to the address. This was shot from Marina Green, with a Canon 40D and EF 70-200mm f/4L USM Lens. Although the traffic is mad crazy when this goes on, I just bear with it as I wouldn't miss the opportunity to see this up close, which happens only one weekend a year. There can only be one, and it's called the Blue Angels!

Insane vid, love all of the pictures, do you have the IS version or the non IS version?

@Sharmanultra1 The photos were all taken with the non IS version on a 40D. One of the best lenses out there!

@kahanalei Wow! thats great to hear, I was trying to decide weather to get the IS version for $1500, or the non IS version for $600. I think Im going with the non IS version! haha saved me $1000
How do you like your 40d? I just got a 1d Mark II, and I love it!

@Sharmanultra1 The 40D is nice but a bit heavy to carry around at times - all in all I am satisfied with it though! 1d Mark II must be awesome!
