Where did they get the audio? The camera mic? You can't even her Jim play.

Hi Michael- A lot of folks make this mistake. The trumpet solo is being played from the guitar via a guitar-synth. I am also playing the bass line simultaneously. Thanks for watching and commenting!

and you are showing your ignorance. This is a tune written by black composer Thelonious Monk. You need to learn more from polite people, I say.

a lot of people don't realize that the guitar is playing the trumpet sound, and bass at the same time. Thanks for watching.

Yes, we all know that the talents people have spent years developing are useless, since those people got older. Let's enjoy young artists, not fully developed, and toss them aside when they actually get good, because they are now decrepit old farts, like this guy!

Rob, I actually have a video of me on the Stick in 1981 somewhere on my channel. It's a great tune by a fantastic composer who has since passed on. Look for the "Intuition" video, if you are interested.

    All the best!

Hi Rob- Played the Stick for 18 years and came to hate it. The tuning gave me wrist pain after long gigs. The belt hook gave me other pains (search "epididymitis"), and the tuning was awkward. I play all 4th uncrossed now and love it. The tone of the Warr is MUCH better. AFAIK, the Sick does not allow piezo bridge saddles, which is why the Warr triggers a synth so well. There is so much more I could say, but not enough space here to write it....Thanks for watching and commenting.

Sounds great but why he don't simply use a chapman stick ? I mean, first, they are way lighter, the playing position is pretty comfortable, they have pretty much the same range than this instrument, the same sound too, and they are built to be tapped ! Why ? Sry if there is mistakes.
