Baggage Reclaim (a Teessider) reckons they were a local(-ish) guy (hard to imagine anyone trekking to Redcar otherwise!) who was also later The Igloos (check out Octopus from 1980 at youtube.com/watch?v=U2g1hd-qEjo). Quite staggering for Dec 1978 - it still sounds cutting-edge 30 years on.

can anyone confirm where this 'band' (one man?!) were from? were they from redcar where it was recorded? (redcar is near middlesbrough in the north east of england)
