This is the infamous scene which took 127 takes to shoot. I suppose Kubrick might seem a bit cruel for putting Shelley Duval through 127 takes like that...but ofcourse, a typical Hollywood director would've just fired her and replaced her with someone else. Kubrick stuck with it till she delivered the goods.
