Oh, I love owlbears...we have a LARP series (yes, I'm a geek, no need telling me about it) over here where owlbears are rather recurring creatures. One of our GMs sewed a very beautiful owlbear costume all by himself and the players seem to like that these animals as well...

...and our owlbear is just as friendly as the one in the song. It loves to hug people at random.
