At least they didn't have steel wheels, like my first skateboard was, ($2.98 at Yankees was all I could afford-the clay wheels skateboards were 8 bucks in 1964!)
Steel wheels were death waiting to happen. In 1966, we cut up a friends sisters roller skates for the clay wheels. Worked great!

I remember seeing this film together with "The Russians are Coming The Russians are Coming!" in 1966. From the signs in the strip mall and on the truck, I'm guessing it was filmed in the city of Rolling Hills Estates on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Great little film.
