Final Fantasy 12 - what level 99 is like start (pt 3/4: Balthier, Fran, & Gambits)

I've reached my goal and did so in under 100 hours, all without using dustia (of which I find too risky). My newest techniques are shown first thing, followed by what other things are like, a hunt in particular (flowering cactoid). In other segments, I show the full clearing of the license board from having practically nothing gained, with Penelo. Various boss fights follow shortly after - notice how the boss' life bar drops faster than it initially fills.... I've deleted story-related elements out, and focused entirely on the effects of having level 99 before first getting Penelo and afterwards. Note the amount of experience Balthier and Fran start with. Try getting that much experience within 100 hours in any other way you can!

Even without dustia, this is doable in 40 hours, potentially 35 for the perfect. Dustia may trim off about 5 hours, making it 35 hours instead, but I don't have data on the effectiveness of the dustia method so I can only guess.

It's doable in just 70 hours, 55 with the dustia method mixed in. I've posted a guide on GameFAQs explaining how you get level 99 so fast and early.

@ulillillia why isn't 4 lvl 99 characters enough for yiazmat?

If all 3 of the main ones fall and should Yiazmut use cyclone just as you're switching in your emergency reserves, it's game over if these weaker characters are unable to take this big of a hit and it's back to the beginning. Leveling them up should be easy though - the 25 dead bones in Nabreus Deadlands is an excellent place - just make sure lure is active on someone else.

@ulillillia It's probably they're 999999etc because they're suppose to be 1 level above you. Penelo to be the same level as you.

Well i used dustia to get to lvl 40 it was easy i did it in like 6-10 hrs but its borin to lvl with dustia i prefer just killing everoithing on your way but im happy with lvl 50 bc Van was lvl 49 and now balthier and fran are 50 jaj i think thats enought to play trough the game althou i finished it once lvl as the game goes but u helped me get burning bow jaj thnxs

See my "how to get level 99 fast & early" series for details. That series isn't the earliest, but it's the fastest and earliest simultaneously. You should have 4 level 99 characters with that route, which is more than enough for everything except Yiazmut. To go even earlier, doable in 70 hours instead of 40, use stages 1 through 5 of that video then use the details (voice only - on the left channel) in the first segment of my "how to get perfect HP and MP" video.
