@JstutzTV Indeed. The lyrics have changed as the guys experiences have changed. They all went through alot of dark times to get where they are. And they wrote about the journey through their music. I think they even still have that crazy house in SLC...

@JstutzTV ....they're dicks....when they showed Branden Steineckert the door (the guy that put the band together) they completely sold out. So yes, they did.....Branden was the only good guy in that bad, and now Rancid gets to have him.....

@Anic27 not all of them used, only Bert im sure. All their songs for the most part on the first album were about his addiction. Box full of sharp objects is like hes talking about what he uses to shoot up with, bulimic is more about how hes not using anymore. hes been through alot of shit in his life.

the used never sold out. since when is writing a catchy melody selling out? i thought that was what music was about, writing music that appeals to people. the used just evolved is all. the write what they want to, not a single album has the same sound, they never went poppy, i never hear them on the radio. the song blood on my hands is about being a serial killer, thats soooo mainstream. they are wo they are, just enjoy the music people.
