If they are lots of small files the speed will drop, also make sure your connecting to a USB2 port.

This is a good HDD! It transfered up to 1GB/s ! average is from 100-200mb/s+

Man.. I bought one.. it transfer less than 1 MB/s..

please help.. im using the default USB 2.0 Cable

My OS is Windows 7.. my processor is AMD X2.. at 2.6 Ghz

i have 3 GB of Samsung RAM.

Im a fan of Samsung.. but when i bought my hard drive

it blew me off.. please help

Coz its supposed to transfer at around 30 MB to 60 MB per second
