Unlike the video claims you don't need multiple layers or advanced selections to do this in CS5. Just a layer with a layer mask with your gradient of choice and the lens blur filter. Takes all of 15 seconds.

lol.. this isnt something of amazingly great. its kinda like some iphone app function.

Too great of a distance between lens and this function.

hmm looking at the bright side, at least we can use this for macro shots

Somebody needs to tell Adobe and Autodesk that their products aren't games. People want a new version of Fifa or Final Fantasy but they certainly don't want you to release new software every single year. How about using patches and service packs to add new features and to fix bugs instead? And what's up with all that Photoshop 3d? Is that meant for designer who wants to do 3d without getting into 3d? Frivolous.

Just asking, what do you want in CS6 that would make you buy it? I believe CS6 is great.

Fair, but now you get to do it much quicker, which will save a lot of time in the long run, if you're doing a lot of images or trying different looks.
