Oh this brings back old memories of Friday nights on Sci-Fi...great video, it summed up the whole history of this villain.

@waisehell a device was under way called the attero device to blow up any wraith ships that go into hyper-space by interupting the hyperspace frequence they use, but the creater janus considered it to dangerous as it would have caused stargates to start exploding. also ... aren't the goa'uld more of scavangers than scientists? thus being less technologicaly advance :)

@waisehell Yes but they took them off once they got drones ass seen in SGA The ship in SGU was built before drones. No they need more than a couple to kill wraith ships. It actually takes quite a bit. But yes they are still very powerful but they are still extremely outnumbered. It was actually a lucky shot on a hatak with shields down by hitting critical systems. and then again that is a Hatak vessel the wraith have stonger hull than the hataks did

@rainick they did have energy based weapons as seen in stargate universe on destiny which has less advanced tech than atlantis or aurora class ship...about the drones, u're completely right but they believed that the drones are very powerful and they only need a couple of them to destroy a wraith ship or any other kind of ships...in sg-1, jack destroys a ha'tak by shooting a drone from a puddle-jumper

@waisehell The ancients were terrible tacticians shown by their ships armed whith ONLY drones what when you run out of ammo. There is no way a ship with no ammo can survive being outnumbered. Use energy weapons to back them up you have a formidable craft. Doubth they had any organized formation in space combat either

fantastic invention of the ancients, they last thousands of years...of course there still is weir and those guys frozen in space...too bad for the ancients that they were a race full of geeks, they had plenty of tech and yet they could not survive in pegasus galaxy...why didn't they make a weapon like the one on dakara and configure it for the wraith and they would have lived and terrans woul've been happier
