EastEnders: E20 will showcase Albert Square like never before. It's an edgy, spin-off drama told through the eyes of four new teenager characters, scripted by some of the hottest young writing talent and broadcast as part of EastEnders 25th anniversary celebrations in 2010. And it will only be available to watch online. With exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and commentary by ex- Eastender Shane Richie, this 4 part series will give you a unique insight into how you could make your own online drama, from the first inkling of an idea to the final tweaks in the edit.
The BBC Media Literacy website has useful information to help you learn more online skills, or show a family member of friend how to use the internet. You'll also find information about how programmes, such as the EastEnders: E20 spin off are made.

This opening episode, 'The Idea', looks at how EastEnders: E20 was first conceived. From a production team with a desire to do something fresh to the BBC Execs at the heart of the commissioning process, everyone involved thought E20 was an extraordinary opportunity to develop new talent and explore the possibilities online drama has to offer.
