Here's a thought...to avoid those "umms" as well as making eye contact with the camera, try working from a script and actually rehearse it ahead of time instead of just reading from whatever happens to be in your lap. Or if you don't have time to rehearse, try setting up one of those monitors next to the camera as a teleprompter.

I'd also suggest using a consistent frame rate...maybe 30 fps so your video isn't so choppy...talk about distracting!
