Oh Roland corporation you are a beautiful beautiful thing aren't you. Imagine music without inventions such as the tb303, tr808, juno, fantom etc etc, infact no don't it would be tragic.

I agree. My EMX is much easier to use, but the sequencer's resolution is much less than that of the Roland Groovebox line. I like my EMX's ease of use, but I like the glitchy, weird noises I can get out of my 303 by using it's high resolution sequencer.

@MeuronDB I'm not familiar with the z3ta, but as a synthesist I'd say go for a saw wave with a lowpass filter around 261hz/ Resonance 25-39% and a bit of phasing and reverb, also route a long sine wave LFO to the resonance, only to affect about 10 or 15% of the resonance. Take that as a starting point anyway. It can be very difficult to get one synth to sound just like another, they all have their own characteristics.

I'm thinking about getting a grovebox for a some time now. For IDMish dubstep and dnb, as an extra ammo to the software I use. First I wanted MC303.Few days ago I found D2,505 and 307.But I live in Poland and here getting 505 under 400$ is impossible. Then I found the 307 in good price and all, but I was to late.D2 is not an option. So I went back to basic idea of getting the 303.I hope it'll be a good buy.Cheap, thats sure (160$) But your video conviced me a little, so thanks for that :)

very dope ambient song you created, big up!
1:16 love that pad, how do you create them on FL z3ta vst ?

@1xtrabailey All the pads and other sounds are waveforms already on the MC-303. I never really used z3ta, only a demo, so I really can't tell you how to recreate these sounds with it.

Nice snare. Is that a preset?

The MC-303 is a rompler. All the sounds are preset wave forms.
