BMW 335i Beauty Shots

This is just a short video that I made with a good buddy of mine of my E90 BMW 335i. Modifications include the Juice Box Stage 1 Performance Tuner (JB1), and the Burger Motorsports intake.

My main goal was to capture the same look and feel that the guys from the super popular TV show "Top Gear" achieve. If you have seen the show, you know just how good these guys are, from their amazing cinematography, to super entertaining dialogue.

I tried to use some of the same types of angles that they utilize, and I hope I succeeded.

Equipment used was a completely stock Canon HV30 set to Auto everything, and a $40 tripod. This was my third time using the HV30, and I must say that it is amazing. Software used was Apple's Final Cut Studio 2 on a 24 inch iMac.

i really dont know why some many ass holes hate on auto transmission. let me tell you man. manuals dont make you cooler or less gay. the auto in this car is made by ZF and is extremely responcive and can shift faster than you with a manul. not many family cars are as nice ans and have the perfromance that this does.

Some parts are a bit shaky, but that's probably just the tripod or can be fixed with more experience. Also, try speeding up and slowing down the footage, such as when you pan the camera, speed up during the pan, then slow down again when you get the the object you're panning to. But criticism aside, this is great and I think it accomplishes what you were trying to achieve.

Manuals give the driver more control over the car not necessarily faster depending on type of automatic trasmision you comparing to but manuals you can't definitely shift faster then smg auto tranny. There is a reason they use SMG technology in F1 :). Having said that there is some down side to that. One major one is FUN FUN FUN the manual is always more fun to drive, also if you want to drift get a manual. SMG is just too perfect IMO.

This is a 335i, absolutely... It has the dual exhaust & It says 335i on the back. It just doesn't have the sport package, which is why the steering wheel & wheels are different. My friends 08' 335i sedan has the same steering wheel. He has the premium and cold weather package but not the sport package on his 335i. Also, if it were the E90 330i (2006) it would have an instant mpg guage right where the coolant temp guage is on this 335i. They switched that in 2007.

yeah that is definitely not a 335i, the 335i comes with sport package steering wheel and rims.

I think your car is running on the hot side... My 335i doesn't have JB though and its never passed the half way range on the oil temp gauge
