In his show California's Gold, Huell Howser interviews Richard Zamboni, son of the inventor who revolutionized the world of skating and ice hockey, The first zamboni ice surfacer was restored to operating conditions. It is now located at Iceland Ice Skating rink in Paramount, CA (south of L.A.)

The copyright belongs to Huell Howser productions. The original show is 30 minutes long and includes the history of Iceland Ice Skating rink where the zamboni was invented and a tour of the current zamboni factory about 4 miles from its birthplace, Also a visit to Mighty Ducks' pond to see how the modern zamboni operates.

  • Our local rollerskating rink had a Zamboni too. It always left wood shavings though....
