Some of the key feature of playing as a engineer are...
1) controls are somewhat like the banshee, Hold LT to boost and left and right bumper to go up and down.

2) you can fly

3)You can still shoot and hold 2 guns.

4) you get a overshield.

5) YOU CAN FLY!
