Here if she had a "drive phase", she didnt drive but from one parking space to an adjacent one. She broke formation early and surcame to the urge to "stand up" and "drag race" 80-90 meters. She finished strong as usual, but it was kind of a long "southern drawl" type strong finish when we are shooting for the snippy concision of a "native New Yorker" (if you follow the analogy). Put better: because she didnt drive a respectable distance out, she never evolved or phased or transitioned to an effective or true "LIFT FLIGHT" mode. A PROPERLY executed drive phase (fierce, low, deliberate) quickly followed by aggravated repetitious arm LEVERAGING and CORE to QUAD "ANGLE CLOSING" will net her vastly improved results than those witnessed here. Because she went into "CHASE" mode from the blocks, her stride became long so her lateral displacement was good, but it lacked the power and frequency of her competitors - power and frequency she can easily match, and with her longer stride it wont be nice when it comes together. It is still early and as sore as she was afterward, she obviously woke muscle groups that have been dormant, so it is great conditioning. I like the way her coach has her rotating workload every other meet. Anyway it was a great race, if a not so good overall sprint. As her discipline, conditioning, and focus improves, there will be a "boot" in the arse of her competition from the "B" in "BANG"...
