  • hi i dont understand english when someone speak so i can understand if you will type me back, please help - i converted the engine from vertical to horizontal the B&S lawn mower engine, i found this engine and repaired this but when i pull the starter it stops working after 1-2 seconds.. please help! i checked all! i dont know why this dont start! pliz help! tnx!

  • @mapukmapuk If it was a lawn mower engine the flywheel is made of aluminum and the blade acts as the flywheel and will not run without the blade or something to act as a flywheel. Also is the carburetor in the correct position? (bowl down). I think you are going to have problems no matter what you do. You should get an engine designed to run in the horizontal position.

  • how much do youcharge a person for doing this?

  • @pimprock23 A lawn mower tune-up is usually about seventy five dollars for Briggs or Tecumseh at The Alameda Repair Shop.
