nope, rockets are quicker than victory's, the guy on the rocket obviously doesn,t

know how to launch or use the bike properly. i had a suzuki m109r which wasn't as

quick as a rocket but quicker than the victory.

@matton36 the rocket makes more hp and more torque off the shop floor, spend 5 grand on engine mods on a rocket and you'd have a real nutter bike.

Whats with all the BS about the Rocket being faster, It isnt. Read the discription given. It says its Lloydes breathed. Lloydes modifies Victorys to make 130hp and 136ft lbs of tourque for only 5 grand of engine mods. The Victory beat the Rocket.

@plonker00765 That's not true Harley has built good bikes sense the 80s..I had two Harleys and they was good bikes and every body i know that has a Harley has a good bike..I do think that Victory builds a better all around bike tho..I had a m109r also and they are not slow.They handle good,,There comfortable..And dependable..But I try to buy American when I can.

The Victory bike is good.........better than the Harleys.

But I have to say, the guy on the Triumph has missed the Christmas tree and was sleeping on the clutch instead of slipping it.

Cruisers don't get faster than a Rocket 3 unless it is a Boss Hoss or a Vmax- which is not a cruiser, but pretends to be one !!!

@plonker00765 Could be I own neither but I have yet to see any equally prepared HD beat a same o same o victory and I have watched about 70 of them run against each other, Of course none beat the Jap Bikes.

Well Folks I do not own either one of these bikes but I have been to Quite a few drags in the last few years and I have yet to see any equally prepared Harley beat one of these victories unless the victory guy missed a shift.

I got a vegas 8 ball I raced a M109 hes chipped done up a bit We went wheel to wheel till third gear then he made me look a little silly Im all stack though

I can't understand the dilemma on cam the Victory is the only one in sight. There is no timing tower and the angle is such it favors the Victory. I know what my Rocket will do and that victory is a nice bike. But it ain't happenin Capan the Rocket will smoke the victory on a timed event.
