Looks like qyite a bunch of John haters here :)
But lets face it... people are allowed to leave a marriage and loved one, even if that means breaking-up a home with children. It's not ideal... but it is perfectly legitimate.
Thing is, John wasn't happy with his wife.
Apparently she was controlling and refused to change.
And... well.. he moved on.
And that was probably best for the children considering that they would have to live to two parents who hated each other.
And so it goes :)

I think that most mens are thinking of another woman all the time. When I told my x that I want to leave him, 2weeks after that He was started seeing a woman lives 2 houses down. We are still married at the time. in the end the woman wanted more from him and he's got scared,so he dumped her.This womaniser has dated well over 30 women before I met him. Now he is dating with HIS STUDENT'S MOTHER.
I made a right decision to left him for good! He has no moral what's so ever!
