I usually fly into Delhi as I did this time. I met Shaan & got another lovely black sitar from him. He's moved his shop to the big one that used to be called Chopra's.

I'm very satisfied with this particular sitar. It has a professional stamp on it &, despite the fact it was bought OUTSIDE Connaught Place, it has all the quality of a much more expensive sitar bought at, say, Rikhi Ram shops in Delhi.
It was bought from a small shop in Pahar Ganj from a gent called Shaan. I'll be seeing him again when I go to Delhi in January next year.
