The McCanns are arrogant and selfish. They both worked, him full time and her part time. They had a nanny at home. You would think that on holiday they would want to be with their kids? But no, they put them in the kids club everyday from 9am - 5.30pm, sometimes later if they had tea at the club and then put the kids to bed at 7pm! IF they did it and covered it up, where is the body? Gerry was not 'missing' when the police arrived. IF Madeleine had fallen and broken her neck/hit her head behind the sofa, and because they had used Calpol or whatever, Gerry panicked and ran away with her and was supposedly 'seen' doing so......how did he get rid of the body so quickly, and so well that it would never be found, AND get back to the apartment in time to be interviewed by the police.
